About the Journal
Materiales Avanzados is a scientific publication that aims to disseminate information about the latest advances in materials research. The journal uses specialized language to maintain rigor in the articles and sections. The journal aims to showcase and discuss materials research discoveries, thus reaching interested technical readers. The journal is published in Spanish every six months.

Materiales Avanzados is a popular science journal published biannually by the Materials Research Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Since 2003, original, unpublished, updated, and specialized academic texts on materials science have been published from a multidisciplinary perspective. We invite you to contribute to the magazine by submitting your articles for consideration; Texts written in Spanish and English are accepted.
