In the Reserved Fund of the National Library of Mexico, a manuscript of great importance for the history of the Congregation of San Felipe Neri in the New Spain viceroyalty is kept, for the incipient historiography of oratorian libraries and for the understanding of reading practices, acquisition of books and organizational of the Philippians. Annotated under the symbol MS. 6426, this record is the only index or inventory preserved from the library of the congregation in Mexico City.
